These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Bobtail: Trucker Ledger ("Bobtail", "the app"), operated by Daniel Raherimanjato ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Bobtail is a financial tracking tool for independent truck drivers and owner-operators. You may use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the app or attempt to access it by unauthorized means.
You must create an account to use Bobtail. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
Bobtail offers a free tier and a paid subscription ("Bobtail Pro") with the following terms:
Bobtail is a record-keeping and organizational tool. It does not provide tax advice, legal advice, or financial advice. The data and reports generated by the app are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified tax professional or accountant for tax filing and financial decisions.
Bobtail uses OpenAI's API to extract information from selected document images after you allow AI processing. Before the first AI scan or field suggestion for an account on a device, Bobtail explains the sharing and asks for your permission. You can choose manual entry instead and withdraw permission in Settings → Privacy → AI document processing. Withdrawal prevents new AI requests for that account from that device; it does not recall requests already sent or delete existing records or cached results. Storage and processing are described in the Privacy Policy.
AI-extracted data may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-extracted information before relying on it for financial or tax purposes.
You may request account deletion from within the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Successful account deletion is permanent and irreversible. The hosted and local cleanup process is described in the Privacy Policy. A failed hosted request may need to be retried, and changes on other Apple devices depend on synchronization. Exported reports, Photos-library copies, and provider-retained operational data are handled separately.
Deleting the Bobtail account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription separately in Apple subscription settings.
All content, features, and functionality of the app — including but not limited to the design, code, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Daniel Raherimanjato and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or financial loss.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the app in a manner that could harm us or other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
