These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Bobtail: Trucker Ledger ("Bobtail", "the app"), operated by Daniel Raherimanjato ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Bobtail is a financial tracking tool for independent truck drivers and owner-operators. You may use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the app or attempt to access it by unauthorized means.

2. Account

You must create an account to use Bobtail. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Bobtail offers a free tier and a paid subscription ("Bobtail Pro") with the following terms:

• Bobtail Pro Monthly: $9.99 per month, billed monthly.
• Bobtail Pro Annual: $79.99 per year, billed annually.
• A 14-day free trial is available for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Prices are in USD and subject to change with notice.

4. Financial Information Disclaimer

Bobtail is a record-keeping and organizational tool. It does not provide tax advice, legal advice, or financial advice. The data and reports generated by the app are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified tax professional or accountant for tax filing and financial decisions.

5. AI-Powered Features

Bobtail uses OpenAI's GPT-4o to extract data from receipt images. AI-extracted data may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-extracted information before relying on it for financial or tax purposes.

6. Data and Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data will be removed from our servers.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the app — including but not limited to the design, code, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Daniel Raherimanjato and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or financial loss.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the app in a manner that could harm us or other users.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
