Privacy policy
Playing Amsterdam Hop
Amsterdam Hop is a single-player game. Its game, artwork, fonts, and music are bundled on your device, so gameplay works without an internet connection. You do not need to create an account.
The app does not send your gameplay or personal information to our servers. Version 1.0 does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or an in-app payment service. It does not request your location, contacts, microphone, or camera.
Information stored on your device
Amsterdam Hop stores progress and preferences in the app’s local storage. This includes treats, earned outfits, friends brought home, village decorations, mystery clues, daily stamps, personal best scores, tutorial completion, interrupted-adventure checkpoints, and settings such as season, music, play style, character, and controls.
This information lets the game remember your progress and choices. Scores are personal records on your device; they are not uploaded to a public leaderboard. The daily adventure and automatic season use your device’s date and time in Amsterdam’s time zone, without using location services.
There is no Amsterdam Hop account or developer-operated cloud synchronization. On iOS, app data may be included in backups managed by your device’s operating system. Android game data is excluded from the app’s configured backup and migration rules. Backup services you use have their own settings and policies.
Postcards you choose to save or share
You can create a postcard from the game. It may show your chosen hamster or outfit, village, friends, or score. When you choose to save or share it, the app opens the system share sheet and lets you choose a destination. Nothing is automatically sent to us or posted publicly.
The app creates a temporary PNG file for sharing. On iOS, cleanup runs when the share sheet finishes. On Android, cached postcards older than 24 hours are removed when the app next starts. Copies you save or send elsewhere remain under your control and the destination’s policies.
Retention and your choices
Local progress remains until you remove it from the device. Deleting the iOS app, or clearing Android app data or uninstalling, removes its live local data. Offloading an iOS app may retain data. Copies included in an operating-system backup, and postcards saved in Photos, Files, or another app, must be managed separately.
You can change the game’s music, season, character, and play preferences in the app. There is no remotely held game account to delete.
When you contact support
If you email d.raherim.agent@gmail.com, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your message, email address, and attachments. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed to explain the issue.
Support provider: Gmail, provided by Google. Support inquiries are handled by the publisher using this mailbox.
How support information is used: We use your messages and attachments to reply to support or privacy inquiries and investigate the bugs or issues you describe.
How long support information is retained: Support messages and attachments remain in our support mailbox until they are removed.
Requests to delete support information: Email the support or privacy contact above to request deletion of support messages and attachments from our mailbox. Copies in your sent folder, recipients’ mailboxes, or other services you choose are managed separately.
These support pages
These pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. They have no analytics scripts, contact forms, advertising, or embedded third-party media. Visiting the pages sends ordinary web request information to GitHub, such as your IP address and browser information. GitHub handles hosting information under its Privacy Statement. This website hosting is separate from the offline mobile game.
Other services you choose
Apple, Google, your device’s backup provider, your email provider, and apps you choose from the share sheet may process information under their own policies. Amsterdam Hop does not control those independent services.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from players of any age. It has no in-app chat, advertising, or user accounts. Parents or guardians can manage device backups, sharing destinations, and installed apps using their device settings. Parents or guardians can contact us with a child’s support question without sending unnecessary personal information about the child.
Changes and contact
