Moving Pip

Swipe up, down, left, or right on the game board to hop. You can also use the arrow buttons. Tap the bottom-right Controls button to hide the arrows and expand the swipe area; tap it again to bring the controls back. The Play screen stays still while you swipe.

Choosing an adventure

Choose adventure offers a full five-neighborhood tour, a practice route, the daily adventure, and Endless Canal Run. A full tour brings 25 friends home. Relaxed play lets you take your time; Quick-hop play adds score bonuses.

Music

Show the controls, then use the music button to turn background music on or off. Adjust the volume in Wardrobe settings. If another app or a phone call interrupts the music, return to the game and resume your run.

Progress and outfits

Treats unlock everyday looks as you play. Bringing all 25 friends home in one full tour earns the Tulip Champion look. Outfits are cosmetic and do not change your abilities.

Your village, earned outfits, clues, stamps, and personal records are stored on your device. There is no login or account-based sync. Deleting the iOS app, rather than offloading it, or clearing Android app data or uninstalling, removes live local progress. Device backups and exported postcards are managed separately.

Continuing a saved adventure

Active adventures save during play and when you leave the app. After reopening, choose Continue adventure to resume the saved run; it stays paused until you are ready. Completed or failed runs are not resumed. A daily adventure from an earlier Amsterdam date expires when the route changes, while your earned village progress remains saved.

Daily adventures

The daily route changes with the date in Amsterdam’s time zone. It works offline using your device clock. Complete the objective, then collect the canal stamp in Village.

Postcards

Create a village or supper postcard, then choose Save or share. The system share sheet lets you pick where it goes. Canceling the sheet keeps the postcard available in the game; it does not upload anything automatically.

Privacy

Amsterdam Hop’s mobile game has no ads, analytics, tracking, or player accounts. Read the full privacy policy for details about local saves, sharing, and support messages.
